Cristeta A. Morales lived with husband Glenn, an expatriate Filipino in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for 13 years. Two of their children (the D and the K in CDK) were born there.
On returning to the Philippines, husband and wife believed they could contribute much to the recruitment industry, having experienced the rigors of life overseas. They understood the problems confronting both OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) and their employers, working within the constraints imposed by sometimes divergent interests.
On June 27, 1990, the Moraleses established CDK International Manpower Services Corporation, adopting for a business name the initials of their three children (Cheryll, Daryl and Kaye) who served as their inspiration in pursuing the venture. In the last 17 years, their hands-on management earned for CDK a reputation for excellence, professional service and client satisfaction. |
